We want freedom for our country, but not at the expense or exploitation of others, not as to degrade other countries… I want the freedom of my country so that other countries may learn something from my free country so that the resources of my country might be utilized for the benefit of mankind.
True democracy or the swaraj of the masses can never come through untruthful and violent means, for the simple reason that the natural corollary to their use would be to remove all opposition through the suppression of extermination of the antagonists.
"Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan" Acknowledging the efforts of our soldiers and farmers, this slogan gave a new dimension to our freedom struggle.
No doubt we have to have bigger projects, bigger industries, basic industries, but it is a matter of the highest importance that we look to the common man, the weaker element in the society. When think in terms of the common man, we have to think of for his food, his clothing, his shelter, medical facilities, recreation for his children.
The preservation of freedom, is not the task of soldiers alone. The whole nation has to be strong.
We have now to fight for peace with the same courage and determination as we fought against aggression.
The economic issues are most vital for us and it is of the highest importance that we should fight our biggest enemies - Poverty &Unemployment.
Sampling out corruption is a very tough job, but I say so in all seriousness that we would be failing in our duty if we do not tackle this problem seriously and with determination.
